Question concerning "Center Console"
Is there a "rubber" insert that sits inside the drink holder (1998-2002 Camaro), that is right behind the shift lever?
,or is it just the hard plastic.
Thanks in advance;

Bright Rally Red- 2001 Chevy Camaro Z28
I don't recall my last '01 Camaro having a rubber insert. My Z28 doesn't have one. I can't recall about my '94 Camaro.

Thanks very much for the input, I tried sitting a "coffee to go" in the holder, and it was wobbling (sp) back and forth, I just can not remember if there was ever a insert to cover that bottom plastic molded bump.

Go down to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a piece of 16th inch rubber and make one. Hey, this may be the start of a business for you. I want in on the IPO.

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A w/ mods, 00 FBVert
For my drinks I always use the one on the side that is I guess for the passenger.
2 reasons why - I have a M6 and with shifting all the time a drink is always in the way when it is there. I only use it to hold change and my ipod The other time is in the rare times I let a passenger have a drink* in the car they can hold it.
* - must have a lid or cap to prevent spilling. I got tired of ppl carelessly spilling crap when I had my 96FB and not clean it up so on this one I said no more.
