puting 99 parts on a 98

I had the incredible luck to come apon a 98 z28 in a trade, i have a 99 z28 that the driver side, has been totaled. http://s172.photobucket.com/albums/w...20z28%20Total/

the 98 is just like the 99 (to my eyes) other then my 99 had the full electronics package and the 98 had none.

can i transfer things like the:

Foglamps?
Keyfob, keyless entry, trunk pop, alarm (red light)?
steering wheel?
power seat?
and the transmition??? 98 needs help....

and i heard there is a chance the gas tank might be steel, should i try to swap it with the one in the 99??

i also noticed that the lower belt is not on the car, i belive it goes to the a/c pump but i am not sure....

i did sell the ls1 out of the 99 and have it's transmition on a pallet.

can anyone help?????

dont quote me but i believe that all of those parts are transferable, i do know that the PCM for the 98 is different than the 99-02's

The 99 gas tank is plasic and holds more fuel. Thr rest you should not have a problem swapping.

the gas tanks are also different internally. The 99+ tanks didn't have baffles in them and used a bucket on the fuel pump, the 98 tanks had baffles and no bucket on the fuel pump. At a quick glance though it looks like the rest of your stuff will transfer over.

yes everything except the PCM will transfer.

yeah i moved alot of stuff over from the 99 to the 98.

i want to move the fog lights but i didn't see the cable in the 98 and i going to have to wire it in? the switch wire is still there.

and does anyone know how i can add my key fob from the 99 to the 98. do i need to move somthing to get the fob to reconize my car?

and now i am having issues with the stereo. some one just went on a cut fest

not sure if it is a bad thing but i noticed that there is no belt on the a/c pump

not like i needed it right now being 32F out side.
