    Pull to the right

Just put 4 new kumho mx tires, changed tie rod ends because bushings were going bad, got an allignment done, and all the tire pressures are the same. Yet there is still a pull to the right!!! Any idea what is causing the pull???

Well first I would say take it back to the place that aligned it and tell 'em it is pulling and you want it fixed. So long as you don't have like a front brake caliper that is sticking as that will also cause it to pull but since the main thing that obviously was changed was up front it is more than likely just not aligned properly. Good luck man!!

they sent me the specs of the allignment and my dad does allignment at his shop and he said that the specs are all good so it wouldent pull from the specs.

Like said above take it back to the shop that did the allignment and have them re-do it or find someone that knows how to properly do it.

he owns a body shop.. but one of the front attachment pieces broke so we dont have the machine running at the moment. He does allighments all the time just cant do them now... we checked the specs they sent us on the paper... and everyhting seems to be in tolerance in the allignment, so im wondering, if the tires that i bought might be faulty or something.... i have no idea... i konw the allignment is correct so thats off the list....

If you think it might be the tires, try swapping the fronts with the rears, if possible. One side at a time, to help determine which tire is bad. While it's off the ground, try spinning the wheel by hand to see if the caliper is sticking/dragging.

what are the specs exactly? you should have about .3 higher caster on the right versus left, so it doesn't pull right. i run an alignment shop. also, this assumes their equipment isn't out of calibration.

if alignment is correct, there are three other things that will cause a pull.

tires - even new a tire can cause a pull. called a radial pull.

brakes - sticking caliper, bad hose, etc...

power steering - when the pump starts to go bad, it can cause high pressure issues which will make the rack turn. this is very rare to happen.

so considering it was fine before I got the new tires and the second after it pulls then most likely radial pull. How can this be checked?

Torque them to like 90-100 foot pounds in the star sequence. Lots of friends have their rides done at walmart and they weld those lugnuts on.. makes it pull like crazy...

He is right. Radial pulls are more common than you would think. I sold tires for 14 years. Try doing what he said in post # 7.

I will spin them and try the torque thing first, not sure how well the switching tires thing would work there directional so the bad tire will still be on the same site so moving front to back it should do the same right? I want to figure out which one it is too so i'm going to do these steps one at a time.

ya.. i took the specs to another local shop and he says common problems are the brake hoses going bad in the inside. He told me to go ahead and change all the brake lines. So imma go ahead and do that. He said if that was the problem when you brake hard it would pull really hard to that side also.... which it does.... so ill try that....
