PTV issues with small cam /mild setup??

    I just installed a 04 ls1 short block and PRC 2.5 5.3 heads (unmilled) I am using 7.4 pr's and ls7 lifters (which superseded all gen3 lifter part #'s) along with some 1:7 Scorpion rockers..and a tiny cam 208/212 .525/.532 114lsa..
    -now the weird part..
We torqued/set preload on one side (all 8) and went to turn the motor 180* to torque the other...and the valve was hitting the piston (99% sure)..wtf..I purposely kept this setup mild so shit like this would not happen! I am using stock head gasket btw..
-I am going to check pr length today, but come on...hittying the piston with a near stock size cam
-ANY thoughts or comments are welcomed!! I am kind of puzzled

Thought I would start getting a little more active on here

Nothing was changed from oem spec..stock pistons, heads unmilled, stock basecircle on cam,RR's utilize stock length pr's...So I talked to a few big name sponsors and they said 7.4 would be fine ....I think I may be a tooth or 2 off on my chain...I will let you guys know.....

yeah, something is up there. No way that should be hitting. Measure your pushrods too and make sure you got the right rods.
