It would depend on what time of day it is.
Water weighs 2.33 pounds more than gasoline per gallon so it is more dense.....heat will cause the gasoline to expand at a greater rate than the water.
Early morning will take more fuel than late in the day.

( capacity of the 94 Camaro tank is 15.5 gallons )

the amount of liquid a tank will hold is equal to the volume of the tank, no matter what temp etc..

now the mass that a gas tank can hold is dependent on the density thus temperature etc...

Gallons will always be the same. The weight of fuel will change with temp.

I gased up this weekend. I was on empy tank for 10-12 miles, so I put in 15.6 gallons.
so i'd say 15.8-15.9 gal full tank.
