Flat Black- 1990 Nissan 240sx
Project plans
so I have been thinking and looking around craigslist as I save my money for a project.
My question is what do you think about this plan
I want to do an LSx swap into a 240sx hatch. So i thought if I could find a good deal on a camaro with an LS in it i could drive that while I rebuild my current 240sx. Then i thought if i do that i can just pull the motor from the camaro and rebuild it and the transmission and do a swap into the camaro that you wouldnt normally do.
What do you guys think?

You might get some replies in a tech section. Moving to the general section.

1999 Formula WS6 M6-sold- 2001 Silverado Z71
You can do whatever want. I like interesting swaps. BUT....
Here' my suggestion:
Its a Camaro, so it needs a Chevy engine. Or at least an American engine. It definitely needs a V8 engine. IDK what a RB25 is...hold on let me google that.
oh ok its a Nissan straight 6 cylinder.

^haha
Chevy motors swap well into anything, even the ford guys do it. But it is Blasphemous for it to happen the other way around.
I don't see anything wrong with just buying an ls-1/trans and putting it in the 240sx. But I don't see the reason why you need to buy a whole other car to do so. Multi projects suck. And the more you have the longer it takes to complete.

The rb is a really nice motor and thanks for your opinion I'm still thinking about what to do but I might just get the LSx and trans and do a swap
Yeah I've always been a chevy fan but have never been able to afford one thats why I wanted to get an LSx but i still have to figure out what I want to do
