    problems with factory alarm

    The car somtimes wont start i have replaced the starter twice it seems to do this after the alarm has been on for awhile the security light comes on and wont start. Also i have to wait till tue security light goes off by itsself somtimes 20 min has anyone else had this problem?

    sounds like VATS issue. Could be your key but most likely is your ignition key cylinder that needs to be replaced or you can bypass the VATS with the resistors like is shown in the link that spaz mention.
