problem with my 98 ss m6
I have a 98 ss and been experiencing these problems for a while...from three fuel pumps put in and some injectors replaced, cant seem to figure it out...first, the alarm system acts crazy and goes off randomly with the key in the switch..second, lights flash while driving..car will run good for a while then go to missing, overloading and running rich with a major loss of power..and fuel pumps keep burning up!! ANY HELP PLEASE!

Is it an aftermarket alarm system?I've seen aftermarket remote start and alarms wired into igntion coils amongst other things that can malufunction and cause problems such as yours.

No, its the factory alarm system...today i had the car plugged up and it brought up the evaporative emissions code...unplugged the mass air flow sensor and it seemed to fix the problem...New sensor or wat?

Check your battery and alternator connections. Have the battery load tested. Have you checked with a voltmeter what you have at the battery while the car is running?
