    powerglide and ls2?

    anyone know if this combination is possible and how...i have a leftover 2 speed powerglide from a race car..and im planning on buying a 02 trans am roller..and throwing the ls2..and the powerglide in there.if its possible..

    anyone know what would be required..do they reprogam the pcm..or how does this work..if it will work

    Unless you're looking for a 9 second car I wouldn't bother.
    There are less expensive choices.
    If you're looking for a reliable street/strip tranny, a built 4L60E should be fine over 400HP.

    well the only reason i waas thinking of using the glide was b/c i already have it..and i wouldnt have to buy another tranny..so ur saying id be better off buying a tranny that would work already rather then having to convert to a powerglide?
