    Power steering return hose

    I have a 1998 z28 where can i get a Power steering return hose or the part number. It goes from the rack to the low pressure side of the pump.The car does not have a steering cooler

    the return line is not a high pressure hose.......any type of hydraulic fluid hose?

    where is the crack at? the end close to the rack? the middle? if is not close to the rack you can get hydralic hose and a metal fitting to splice it together. Most autopart stores can order PS hose.

    i would unbolt the line from the rack......use a grinder to remove that high pressure crimp off of the hose.....get a hard line flare kit and flare the end...so it will hold a slip on hose......take the left over hose to match the length on a new hose.....get a new rubber O ring for the hard line end that bolts to the rack.......install new hose with regular hose clamps

    The leak is by the crimp connection.

    i just replaced my high pressure side hose..........it was leaking at the crimp connector

    I replaced mine too and now the low pressure leaking.
