I have seen some inexpensive universal ones on ebay that fit my 94 Z28. Should I steet completely clear of universal models? The seller had a 98.6 rating. but I was just kinda curious if anybody had done the same. They were price aroun $45 for a pair.

I guess eBay really offers cheaper price for some parts like door lock actuator. Just had this one last week, cost is around $30-$50 for the part.

well it depends. most universal require that you have to mod the way they install. I have a set of universal's in my 88 crown vic and it ws pretty easy to install. I had the car for 5 yrs and they never gave me issues.
