Is it possible to get a Camaro to sound EXACTLY like this????

    http://www.corsaperf.com/flashc5.htm

And if so, what would it take?

The exhaust would have to be configured differently, it would take a fair amount of custom work. For starters you'd need a true dual exhaust setup, then you'd have to find a way to fit a pair of mufflers into the system, which is next to impossible on an f-body (only room for one muffler, behind the axle). In theory, where there's a will, there's a way. Maybe Corsa makes a dual-in, dual-out muffler that could be used??

    I'm thinking

    1. Must be a 6-speed
    2. Stock motor and pre-cat exhaust
    3. RPM limiter boosted to 7000 RPMs
    4. ASP Pulley
    5. Maybe even raise idle speed
    6. H-pipe after cats
    7. Some how fit 2 of these exact corsa mufflers

7000 rpm's on the stock motor not too good of an idea, unless you like the look of a thrown rod

I forget what you normally raise it to...

    From 5900 to 6400?

stock is 6200, fairly common to raise it to 6400-6600...7k is only for upgraded valvetrains.

well, it's kinda silly to raise the stock limiter on a stock motor. Most stop making power before this anyway. If you are raising the limiter just to get the sound you want, well, you have other issues.

    Short answer: No

Long answer: Maybe, but it would be groundbreaking. True dual setups on Fbodys are loud and unrefined because there simply isn't room for 2 mufflers underneath the car, so people just stick a couple of bullets along the way and call it a day. If you could find a way to fit 2 corsa mufflers under the car, you could get close to that sound. In any case, you're looking at tons of custom work and no shortage of profanity trying to figure out the packaging/layout.

What about two of these Corsa Mustang mufflers welded together and placed in the Camaro's muffler location sideways?

    Or these Corsa Cadillac mufflers?

hmmmm those do look pretty compact, perhaps there is hope. There is some extra room in that area between the axle and the bumper, and with mufflers that small you might be able to work something.

Do they list the dimensions of the mufflers?

Set them up like one of these but with 2 skinny Corsa Mufflers in place of the one big muffler, and if it's still too loud you can always add a couple bullets up under the back seats right?

yeah if you could fit them, that might be too tight. Also look at the areas to the left and right of the trunk tub, maybe fit the mufflers in there longitudinally.

So the Bassani is dual pipes but single muffler, and the GMMG is single pipes but dual mufflers?

Anyone else feel like these 2 ideas should have been combined?

Haha yeah i know right? at least the bassani setup keeps the two flows separate. They go through the same muffler, but they never combine.

So there's a divider in the middle?

That Bassani sounds pretty close to the Corsa Corvette system.
I wonder if they make a muffler you could swap out with the Bassani muffler.
