What happened? Did the Y-pipe get bent in shipping? Pics would help.

    Keep us posted.

Cutting on the area where the Y meets the headers? Or where the catback meets the Y?

Some what, the fitting is so tight it pushes my tailpipes up against my rear bumper.
I have an appointment on Friday to get it fitted better and welded instead of stupid clamps

You have to push the catback forward to meet the Y or something? Or is the Y bent and when you connect the Y to the cat, the pipes hit the bumper?

The Tail pipes hit the bumper yes, and from what i think it looks like the
ORY sits lower then it should.
With it being so messed up its causing the muffler to rub against my gas tank i am guessing

Hell, you could bend the pipe yourself. Just go to Home Depot or Lowes and get one of those BernzOmatic handheld torches and connect the pipes and eyeball the pipes while you heat the Y. Done.

I had to cut about 2in off my catback pipe and reuse the factory clamp. I just butted the two pipes together and split the diff between the clamp. I cut the pipe just where the factory swedge is gone and back to original size. Worked perfect. BTW I wouldnt weld them together, you might wanna take em apart again...
