PO410 Code? What causes it?
My SES light came on today after the car being in storage for a long time. I had installed a new battery and drove it about 100 miles with no light now it popped on. I have 2 codes coming up. PO410 Secondary Air injection System malfunction. What part or sensor is bad that would cause it to throw this code? I also have code PO157 which is an O2 sensor-bank 2 sensor 2? My only question with that is where is that located? I have a catted QTP Y-pipe with long tubes.
Any help will be appreciated I have to get the car inspected before my 10 day runs out. There is a sticky on the secondary air system under "General Help" that will answer all your questions. Posting mobile and not able to link it for you.

Air pump may be bad.
Bank 2 Sensor 2 is passenger rear 02. I'm surprised you didn't have the rear 02s turned off with a tune.

Its saying low voltage to the 02 sensor, is that gonna be the sensor or the wiring to it?

The sensor. It basically can't keep up with the increased exhaust flow of the headers and high-flow cats. Get those rear O2s tuned out. You'll replace them and possibly get the same code if you don't get them tuned out.

Is it possible that the air injection malfunction is causing the o2 sensor to get screwed up? If I fix that problem it may solve the o2 sensor voltage?

You could replace the faulty air pump, clear the codes and drive the car to see if the O2 code comes back.

Don't throw parts at it. Here is the link -- run the secondary air diagnostic as outlined in the thread. Most likely it is a faulty check valve.

The O2 sensor is located after the converter. As "Sensor 2" it does not affect how your car runs and you can simply clear the code and drive it. If it comes back on, then post back up and we'll figure out what to do. I generally recommend swapping the senors side to side to see if the code follows the sensor. Best bet though is to simply tune them out and forget about them.

OK, I did the secondary air diagnostic, the air pump seems to be blowing air, not very hard however. I had to hold the hose to my face and I could feel it blowing my hair lightly. Is this normal or should it be harder? It seemed to have a strong vaccuum near the headers on both sides and at the union from the air pump.
I cleared the codes Im going to drive it and see what happens. Hopefully it was just a hiccup and its fine now. Any other advice is appreciated

Deleted it.....
no seriously...delete it. It's not needed.
If you have to have because of being in NY and need a replacement I believe I still have mine somewhere in the garage. If you want it, just pay for shipping...+$10

If I recall, my air pump blew fairly stong - there was no question that it was operating. Check the air inlet hose that runs up to the air cleaner and make sure it is not obstructed. If you decide you do need a pump, I have one ready to ship.

I have a pump sitting in my closet also. Makes for a useless object taking up space.

That it does. I was happy to see that whole system laying on the floor of my garage.

I did all the test i hooked up power to the air pump it went on but I dont think that its pushing air. I can hear it go on when i start the car so something must be busted up internally on the air pump. All the hoses are clear. So I guess I have to replace the air pump.
SMWS6 do you still have that pump?
