    1997 corvette 00 WS6 TA

    please listen to my engine. Is the ticking normal?

    I have a Comp 228/230 with Patriot Gold springs and Comp 7.4 pushrods. It seems to make a ticking sound. Can't really hear it in the car but you can on the outside. I used to have the 918 springs and it didn't seem to be quite as loud. The duals seemed to make it louder. What do you think?

    Could be the pop of the valves slammin' shut. Either way I didnt like hearing the noise, not good.
