please help code p0102
after getting my pcm back from tuned by frost hoping it would fix my problem and after 10 minutes of drving the problem is back. ses light came back on so i had it scanned at auto zone p0102 which said: mass or volume air flow circuit low imput probable cause
1. poor electrical connection
2. vaccum leak on engine
3. dirty or blocked air cleaner
4. Faulty MAF or TPS
i sent my pcm in for my header and ory y pipe no cat and air pump delete. my 02 has vaccum lines along the firewall. the line goes into a sensor and another line comes out of the sensor and into the air pump since i removed the air pump i stuck a screw in the line out of sensor. and removed the air fuse. i also cleaned my maff sensor with rubbing alcohol. still the problem is after driving for 10 minutes or so the car will cut in and out and will go away if i romp on it. also lots of black soot coming out exhaust. PLEASE HELP! i am lost, thanks in advance

Did you clean your MAF with CRC?
You have about 3 different threads now with people giving advice in each one. If you don't do anything anyone is recommending, how do you expect to fix the issue exactly?

Haven't seen your other threads yet, but I'd check the ENG SEN fuse for an open. The MAF, 02's (and a couple other things) are on the same circuit if you have a M6.

Fuse labeled ENG SEN (engine sensor) under the hood. Something easy to check. It can blow if an 02 wire shorts on a header, throwing P0102.

Get under the car and check the 02 harnesses for a burnt spot where it was arcing against a header, my guess would be on the passenger side.

ok thanks alot guys, so i checked the wires they werent melted. i took the front 2 o2 sensors out and cleaned them off put them back in and tightened a vaccum line behind the intake. drove it for a half hour and had full power back. the ses light stayed off.
the only minor problem now is it still stutters when cruising and not giving it alot of gas.
is it possible my maff sensor is shot?
my ses light is not on though

Drive it a while and see what happens - there's a reason it threw P0102 - surprised SES turned off so quickly by itself without clearing the code(s)? Is your car a M6? Skip shift and reverse lockout are on the same circuit. Doubt it's the fuel filter...still thinking 02.

it has skip shift but it was tuned out, also have the skip shift eliminator plugged in. i did unplug the battery when working on it so that reset the ses light but it never came back on. not sure if it is a m6 it is a 2002 ws6 6 speed ls.

OK, disconnecting the battery might have reset it. Since you have a M6 (six speed car) if the fuse blows again you will be able to tell - it'll be hard to get into reverse. Put some miles on it. Disconnecting the battery probably reset the PCM. Most codes don't illuminate the SES light until three consecutive failures.

yes it is hard to get into reverse, why is this? and when the fuse blows what would cause it?

Reason it's hard to get into reverse when the fuse blows is because the reverse lockout solenoid is on the same circuit. If it just happened check the ENG SEN fuse again. If it's blown you still have a short.
