Performance help!?!?!
I've got a 99 SS and I'm looking to build this thing up to run with the best without nos for the time being. All your help has been appreciated so far but I need a little more. I've got msd super conductor wires, ngk plugs, pacesetter long tube headers, and super 10 flowmaster true duals on it right now. I'd like to add an ls6 intake and cam to it. What do I look for in the ls6 intake? I am working with crane to get the cam I need but don't know much about what I need for the intake. Am I going in the right direction? Thanks for any help in advance.

Hey spaz usually the 80 series on the flowmaster is what everyone bitches about. As far as their other mufflers they arent too bad.
But yeah op, i would look into a fast intake rather than ls6

From what I seen there isn't much price difference. Am I looking in the right places? Don't want to sound like an idiot just kinda new to the GM world.

I also see there is different sizes, 102, 92, 90? What am I looking for there? Is there a polished intake in the fast?

SOM- 1998 T.A.
Your $$$$ will be best spent picking up a used LS6 IM and porting your stock TB. Used LS6 is $275-$300 and a P&P TB is only about $60 (with core) or you can search and find "do it yourself" info.
The FAST is a good mod but best with bigger cube higher spinning motors......

When it's all said and done I'm gonna replace my heads when I add the intake on and bore my pistons a bit and change my throttle body out as well. 92 what I need to go with? What size TB do I need to look for as well? Thanks again for all the help.
