Pennzoil Platinum $.99 a quart
Pennzoil Platinum is on a coupon special at Kragens. The price is $3.49, plus a rebate the brings the price down to $.99. This rebate is only good for the first six quarts.
Lets see, 6 for my wife, my daughters, my mother in law, my dog. I cleaned out the local store today.
Sarge, I hope you read this. I owe you one for putting me on to this oil.

The coupon was available in the store. This only happens once a year, and it ends 23 Sep. Don't forget to get the rebate form and receipt.

Yup....good find....like I've said they have 2 for 1 and these $0.99 cent things all the time....you gotta stay alert! This sale is at Murrays/Kragens/Checkers etc......here is the coupon you can print out and take with you.....again good find man! $0.99 for this stuff is better than free Royal Purple

Is this oil really that good? Since I've bought my car, I have only been putting Mobil 1.

Mobil1 is good oil but overpriced. The Pennzoil Platinum is less prone to shearing and is returning much better wear metal results. Many see much smoother performance with the PP. All for a fraction of the cost of Mobil1.

Still on Sale!
This thread rises from the dead as Kragens still has a rebate deal on Pennzoil Platinum, Valvoline Synpower, and Quaker State Synthetic. $3.49 a qt, plus a $2.50 a qt rebate. 6 qts each per household. Total rebate per address $45.00, and you can get one rebate check per address monthly.
Plus Kragens (At least the Kragens I shop at) gives a 10% military discount. That brings the final price down to $.65 a qt. Even better than free Royal Purple.
Pardon Me: Time to go watch the game!
