PASSKEY2 system is crap, how do I bypass or reset?

I just recently purchased a 95 Trans Am Convertible. The security light stays on solid and from time to time kills the fuel while driving. Come to find out the resistor chip it the key was shot which more then likely caused the secuirty light to come on. I went to the GM dealer and a new key and resistor chip, and the car fired up just fine but the security light is still on and has started to not start again. I either need the system bypassed or find a way to reset it. I just figure since the previous owner was using the bad resistor key for god knows how long what kind of damage to the TDM and security system was done. Please if anyone can help I really need. This is my daily driver and I cant rely on my car now.I can also be text at 717-331-0204, Im not on this site alot to check and need answers fast. Thanks all.

A lot of times a bad cylinder lock will cause the security light to stay on. Also i would not suggest posting a phone number in the forums for potential spam reasons. Goodluck and welcome.

Don't forget to pull the radio fuses from the end of the dash to reset the system there are 2 radio fuses pull both
