    passanger mirror

    I was wondering if anyone else's car did this every so often when I get in my car the power mirror is in a diffrent position like I held the button until it is all the way in one position

    No nobody messes with it it sits in my garage a lot I rarely drive it its got to have some kind of electrical problem

    Stop slamming the shit out of the doors.. jk

    There could be an issue with the power adjustment mechanism behind the mirror.. This could be causeing the mirror the move when the door gets closed. There's what's called a "servo saver" or "slipper clutch" in the mechanism that prevents damage to the motor and the drive for the mirror. This is why they "click-click-click" if you go too far with them. Try adjusting the mirror out till you get a couple clicks and readjust it back to the possition you use it in. After, open and close the door a few times and see if it moves again..

    After this you could be looking @ a BCM issue iirc..

    do you leave the mirror selector switch in the middle position so the mirror switch is locked?

    I'm pretty sure I leave it in the middle sometimes I might forget and leave it in the driver or pass position. I do the same in my bonneville
