Parking lights stay on

I have 2001 ws6. This might be dumb question but does anyone have an idea why the parking lights stay on even though the switch is turned off? Thanks

The orange lights in the front bumper? Those are your DRL's (Daytime Running Lights).

Thanks. Yeah i knew it was a dumb ? after I submitted. Saw about 01 camero and his lights were on so I figured it out. I didn't think of looking up DRL in manual etc.

No such thing as a dumb question. You will want to keep an eye on them - the DRL's are a crappy design and they like to fry the bulb sockets. I have replaced both sockets on our car.
