Paint question??

The camaro above that I am looking at, I have one question for anyone who might know the answer. Did any SS Camaros come with the section in front of the rear window, like right behind the Ttop painted the same as the car?? B/C I thought that all were painted black? The above Camaro SS has the section painted RED to match the car, just curious if any came this way from factory, or if it was done after by someone. Thanks for the help.

V6 Camaro's came with the sail panels painted the color of the car. I don't recall any Z28 or SS that came with it painted the same. The owner may have had it painted to match the body color.

Not sure on a 2000. All 2002 v8 cars had a black roof.

98's came with the sail panel and mirrors painted black. 99 on had just the sail panels black.
