    p1133

    my 01 z28 is giving me this code is it the front o2 sensor? i just had catback exhaust put on they found my drivers side cat was leaking so the sealed it up for me its a 01 z28 by the way.....ive read that some of the gaskets can give off fumes that will trip that ?

    I assume since since you said cats you dont have lt headers? Sometime certain sealants they use can damage o2 sensors but since idk what sealant they used its hard to say. Now a p1133 code means the sensor is slow to respond to the pcm with reading from the exhaust in a stock car this normally means the o2 is at the end of its life and is getting lazy so its probably time to swap a new one in.

    it's not the gaskets but sealants... the only way (from what i've read) is if thoes sealants burn and release the chemicals that kill the 02 sensor... if you've installed headers moving the 02 bung further tword the collector could help... try getting the car tuned and see if that fixes it...

    thanx ill look into getting a new o2 sensor i have an idea that once they sealed the cat up something with it being a sealed system caused by the change in the exhaust...heres what my code reader pulled off bank one control shifted lein...
