Unhappy Old school camaro with wheel hop problems.

I have a 77 Camaro with a 380hp engine that has a bad case of wheel hop anytime you press down on the pedal.could someone help get this car to come off the line like I want it to. What is a good traction set up that you have on your Camaro or one close to it that will give me a good jump out of the hole without the wheel hop? I am running 275/15 BF Goodrich street tires on the rear.

    Sadly now demodded :(

Caltracs is probably the best solution but you can also use angled shims under the spring perches to adjust the pinion angle or possibly traction bars would help. I've done both at different times with 1st gens and gotten favorable results.

Another possibility is a composite leaf spring set from Vette Brakes. I used a set on a 67 behind a built 427 BBC (500+ RWHP) and the car tracked straight every time without using traction bars. Car was on 10.5 wide ET Streets. The only thing was it made the rear of the car sit 1.5" higher. Vette Brakes & Products | Corvette Brakes Parts, Suspension Parts, GM Parts
