Old School Blowers
I was just sitting here thinking about my next project. I have always wanted an old school big block 68 firebird with the chromed intake and blower sticking out of the hood. I was wondering if the old school big block chrome blower is for carbs or can you have the same type setup with fuel injection? My other question......is there a cost difference between building a carb vs inject motor.....say I want to build an ls1 402 or an carb 455 making similar power is there much of a cost difference? TIA
Just an idea of what I am looking at

there are guys who have fuel injection with a roots blower. I think it takes a cusom manifold to do, unless you have throttle body injection. not sure on cost though, a big block anything is a little pricey.

i think there are special fuel injection plates for that kinda stuff. i normally am a carb fan but fuel injection is just too easy to tune these days
