Pewter- 2000 Trans Am
Okay so I Installed my hood again.... pics!
Check out my pics guys, that painter did a hell of a job. but my hood bracket on the right side of the vehilcle nabs alittle bit of the hook during closing and opening. overall the fit is satisfactory, but I want to make shure its perfect so ill let you guys decide if its passable or not.
enjoy the pics.
This is the side i had more trouble with.
I see that the left side nostril is slightly elevated. so I checked out a WS6 and it had the same little gap.
the headlight is slightly higer on this side what do you think?
heres the little gap i was talking about.
heres the side view of the head light.
guys please give me some feedback.

Its a gm product not a ferrari or porsche,I gave up trying to get parts to fit perfect on my camaro a long time ago.I think it looks nice,I would not stress too much about perfect fitment.

post some full car pics. . . ill try to post some of mine (pewter ta w/ ws9 hood just like yours) so you can compair. most of the time with little misalignment issues, you will be the only one that notices it, unless you point em out to people.

Did you lower the bumpstops in the front. Looks pretty good but it should close that gap by lowering the bumpstop. If not try adjusting the latches.

When I was installing mine and would cock the hood one way or another it would do this. Maybe try loosening em (all 4 bolts on both hinges) and retightening again. Just gotta keep playing with em till it's right.

Ya give us a full body pic. What's your total price on this? Price of hood, shipping, paint/prep? I got about $1,500 in mine but that's with repainting the front bumper and headlight covers. Not bad considering that's about the price of an oem ws6 hood by itself.

Ya you got a deal on the paint. I only paid $500 for the hood. No shipping. Roger was traveling thru Md and dropped it at my door free of charge. Guess he felt bad about how long I waited for it. I dropped a big check to the painter tho.
