    Ok guys don't Flame me..

    But i have looked everywhere... and i still can't find anything...

    well my friend is buying a Camaro...

    and when we looked at it it had a cast iron block... and 706 heads... well i looked up the heads and they are 5.3L heads now did the 5.3L come in cast iron... or aluminum we are trying to see if the block is a 6.0L...

    Please anyone Chime in...

    If it is a 6.0 it will say it somewere on the block.

    Found this while looking for a different thread.

    It will be difficult to find the 6.0 numbers you are looking for. I believe are on drivers side, by the firewall. It will probably be difficult to find. LQ4 here.

    Displacement marking on LSblocks are on the front left side of the engine just below the deck. Basically under the powersteering pump on F-bodies.
