Oil pressure sensor failing
Hello guys new to this forum thing but needing some help.
Long story short I installed a high flow melling oil pump on my truck and since have been going through oil pressure sensors like crazy. They basically blow themselves up and oil just poor out of the sensor itself leaving all my oil on the ground.
Question is is there a after market sensor that can handle the higher volume and pressure of the upgraded pump.
05 silverado LM7 5.3L 240k miles.
Runs about 60-70 psi all the time 80+ on a hard pull.
Mods--- pace setter shorty headers
762 heads cold air and a tune rebuilt top end new rockers push rods all new gaskets arp head bolts new timing chain and high flow oil pump.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've been using a Melling 10296 HF/HV pump for over 10 yrs and had zero issues. What brand of sensor are you using?

High engine temps, sometimes oil filter issues can cause high pressure. Also oil weight.
