    oil pressure gauge

my oil pressure gauge isnt working.. changed the sending unit and that didnt do anything for it.. is there a way to test the gauge itself to see if its bad or is it better to put a mechanical gauge instead?

This question was just asked not too long ago. I believe that the correct answer was to unplug the senor and run a jumper between the connections. Doing so, you should see your oil pressure gauge max out. If it passes this test, the wiring and gauge are most likely working properly.

BTW: I am moving this thread to the General Help section of the forum for you.
