Oil grade, low oil level, worn-out pump, bad sending unit, not changing your oil, oil temp... what is the gauge reading?

    5 psi ?
Sounds like it's time for a new pump.
My 119K mile Formula will go as low as 25 psi at idle in the warm weather but that's still in the safe zone.

bad main bearing clearence or a spun bearing is one of the main causes of realy low oil pressure (like 5 psi). a lot of people think its the pump all the time but in my experince pumps seldom fail. there's realy not much with them

Man at 5psi...I hate to say it....but sounds to this old man like you spun a bearing and your in need of a rebuild....take advantage of the oppurtunity and build a beast!
