I got my Camaro a few years ago, with under 30k. Mine never goes higher than about 65, and never lower than 55. I'm still under 80k with no change.
I'd say you're okay too. Just as long as it's not going too low or reading nothing at all you're good.

Sorry for reviving the thread, but I am having the same issues. Turn my car on while the engine is "cold" the oil pressure will jump up to 60 while I am on the throttle and go down to 50 when I am not. If my engine is hot, and I am in traffic it will go down to 25 sometimes and the needle will shake right there, and on other occasions it will stay at 30. When I put my foot on the gas it will jump up to 45-50. I have not changed the oil in a year. Last time I checked (A month ago) my oil was still full. I used 10w30 Mobile 1 Syn oil w/ Mobile 1 oil filter. Some people I asked said that it could be my oil pressure sensor going bad? Which can also throw my transmission into a "safe mode" and cause me to skip gears while I am driving (which does happen). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

How many miles are on the car?
If you havn't changed your oil in a year you could be in for a not so cheap repair down the road. synthetic oils will break down and will rust parts if they sit for a period of time.
When was the last time the trans fluid and filter were changed?

I don't drive much on it though. The car has 98,000 miles on it. It is due for a transmission fluid/filter change, but would just that be the cause for the transmission? Seems kind of farfetched when I think about it, but on the other end it could be so simple to have a problem like that. However if it is then that will be an easy fix.

while still in the norm...it might be signs of either 1. your opsu is going out..2. your oil pump is getting near its end...or 3. both

Well, I will change the oil, trans fluid/filter, and if that does not solve the problem then I know where to look too next. Where is the OPCU located by the way? I am just going to try and fix it up and sell it ASAP. I want a C5 Vette now, so it is time to save up and move on.

Thats fine. I am not getting rid of the Camaro because of maintenance issues or w/e. I just want a Vette now. Thanks for the location info. The sensor is not that expensive to replace is it? Can you get them from like advanceauto if necessary?
