Oriental Blue- 2001 Trans Am WS.6 M6
oil pan
so i replaced the rear main and my car is still dripping oil, so i guess ill be replacing the oil pan gasket next.... can i get any advice as to whats involved? how difficult of a job is it to replace? does the engine need to be lifted? thanks for any adivce

well, you gonna need to get a brace to hold you engine up, then drop your k-member a lil and then drop the oil pan. that is how mine was done

hmmm....think i can do it in my drive way? sounds like ill have to get it up on a lift again

paved or concrete? just get that puppy up on 4 jack stands and you'll be ok. Make sure your motor is secure while you're pullin parts off.

so true, to pull the oil pan, you gonna have to lift the engine or drop the k, be careful

my drive way is concrete, what would i support the engine with when i yank the k member? how difficult of a job would you say this is?

pretty hard i'd say, we had an engine brace that mounted to the strut towers and chained to the engine
