    Oil level sensor questions

I have a crate LS1 that I'm using in a custom project. I want to add an oil level sensor, but my pan doesn't have a port for it. Do I have to buy another oil pan, or is there an alternative?
I won't be hooking it up to the ECU, so it will be a separate monitor.

Not sure the thread size, but you could probably just TIG a bung into the side of your existing pan.
