    Oil change

My ta is all set but I was changin my saturn oil and when I started pouring I realized it was 10W-30, I need 5W-30. I almost got 2 quarts in before I realized, should I drain it and redo or do you guys think I'll be okay til the next 3K miles?

No problem with the 10W-30. So did you put in two quarts of 10W-30 and then top it off with 5W-30? Or did you end up using all 10W-30?

It's generally not an issue to mix oils as long as they are the same brand.

I had two 5w-30 qts at home which I wanted to use to get them off the shelf so I bought that 10w-30 on accident thinkin I'd have extra for next time and I started with the 10w-30 (realized my problem) and finished with 10-30. I don't like to mix or add oil.

    I still got the 2 5w-30 qts and now I got about 1qt of 10-30 left. =|
    sucks but oh well
