Oil catch can ????
Ok I understand how the catch can idea would help on a non LS6 intake car. Will this mod benefit me in any way seeing that I have a 02 car with the LS6 intake?? I read somewhere on here that the redesigned LS6 intake resolved the issues that would warrant a catch can. If I could benefit from this mod where would I place it at? I am a little new to the LSX world so forgive me if I am way off base here. I just want to make sure that I have any preventive mods done before I go to Bolton’s, ETC

The actual manifold doesn't stop oil consumption and might make it worse if the manifold has increase vacuum(just pulled that outta my ass so it's prob wrong ). You might be thinking about this http://ls1howto.com/index.php?article=18 ....it's the ls1 to ls6 pcv conversion and i've heard it does help a little.
Since you have a 02 with no egr you can attach the catch can to the front of the passenger head with a bracket of some kind...you might have to fab one. The good thing about putting it there is it's right by the pcv hose.
