i got my o2 sims today in the mail.. plugged them in and the car runs alot better but its still throwing o2 codes. i was told that canada has different regs on emmissions therefor if i buy a canadian o2 sim it could be programmed differently than what my computer needs.... does this make since or is the guy at the part store an idiot??? my check engine light is still on!

What codes are you throwing? Sims would only eliminate the SES light but would do absolutly nothing as far as the vehicles performance...
Where did you purchase the sims from? Did you reset the computer after the instal?

Also what o2s did you put them on, they are only for the rear 02s when you remove the cats. Get the codes and post them up for a better diagnosis.

O2 sims from anywhere are pretty much worthless.

Want to be 100% sure you don't get the rear O2 codes?? Have the codes turned off via tuning software. Shouldn't cost any more than the sims.
I have found O2 sims are about 50/50.
