    2002 camaro

    o2 sensors

    i need a drivers side upstream 02 sensor......i found a reasonably priced one on the net.....but it said passenger side upstream, and the website didnt give me a choice on a drivers side one.....question is , are both sides interchangeable?

    Yepp there interchangeable the only difference is the wire length. If i remember correctly the passenger side is a bit longer than the driverside but thats it.

    You can utilize a specialized sender socket that has a slot for the wiring... but this is not necessary as long as you have a wrench that fits snug. Be careful you do not bend any pins in the weatherpack connector and route your wiring away from the exhaust. The new sender should have some anti-sieze on the threads already. If not, a small daub is recommended before installation.

    If you use an open end wrench. SNUG fitting is important.
