    O2 Sensor P/N ?

Does any one know the GM Part Number for the O2 Sensors? I'm not having too much luck getting a GM P/N. I can find AC Delco, NGK, Boushe, ect.

Does any one know what makes and models this part number services?
Are the upstream and downstream O2s the same?
Here is a dump question, are the left and rights the same?

    Thanks

    Couldnt find the part number,
The fronts are the same as the rears
The left are the same as the right.
I replaced mine with some Bosche Sensors when my headers fouled out my stock ones.

they are the exact same part number front to rear. I had to replace mine when I did the longtube upgrade so I bought a set of universal ones and spliced the wire to the correct lengths. People say the universals are a pain in the ass but if you can read they arnt too bad. 60 bucks or so each. OE fit boshs are 73 or so at advance auto.

thanks, you're right the part stores want an arm and a leg for just one sensor. At least summit carries the NGKs for about 52 & 55. I saw tons of universals on ebay for half that.

If you think that $65 or so is an arm and a leg, be glad that you dont drive an import, most of theirs are a good $120 or so, and the wideband for some hondas is well over $150. This is a really bad sport to get into if cheap is your goal

I bought a pair of Bosch O2 sensors today. They are Bosch 13444's. They list for $75.00, I got a 20% discount to bring them down to $60. With my engine still out of the chassis I am finding a few more things to do. I wonder if ceramic coating my short headers will effect my O2 sensors?

Ive heard nothing but bad things about the bosch sensors.... A lot of guys on here will tell you just to pay the extra money and get the Delco's. Really it's just personal preference.

And with LT's you will need 2 O2 simulators and 2 O2 extensions.

I live in California, so I have to run Shorty headers. Thanks for the info on the Bosch O2 sensors. I am trying to get everything right the first time. I will get the Delco's: Now I need the part number!

put the simulator money towards a tune. Run the CEL for awhile if you have to. A tune will make you run better and take care of the downstreams anyway. I sell bosch 02s at work and they are one of the only product we dont have to warrenty out for defects, granted if you delete your cats and change your o2 sensors and then just run rich as hell you are gonna clog them up...

ok, called two dealers to make sure i felt i had the right P/Ns

They list the right side as P/N - 25312196
They list the left side as P/N - 25312197

And this is why i don't go to my dealers, ~145 bucks each. So any brand at any reasonable store is a steal over the dealer price.

Can any one tell me what make and model fits this part number, 25312207, supposed to be O2 sensors.

    thanks

Now this is getting really confusing. Bosch 13444 is the same part # for both sides. GM has a different part # for left and right. Could somebody explain this?

no kidding. AC Delco has two part numbers, so does NGK. The only thing I can think of is wire harness length? I would have thought the diff would be upper vs lower, not right vs left.

A little more research makes it almost clear. You need 3 of one sensor and 1 right hand sensor. The Bosch part #s are 13444(3) and 15732 (1). I will go with the Bosch as they are half the price of the Delcos. Kool Aide, you are right about the dealers prices.

well i took a chance on a set from ebay, cross my fingers. They are AC Delcos and half the cost of local parts stores. The only mistery is will they be the right part, gulp. I have used Bosch in the past on a Chrysler. We didn't have it for too long so I can't comment on the quality. I personally think AC Delco makes good stuff. Either way I felt violated after talking to my local dealers and those prices were like being orally sodomized.
