    Not Starting?

Ok, a buddy's car won't start after a new clutch and starter. It was starting fine for a few days but all of a sudden when you turn the key, the guages shut off, and it does nothing. It ran and drove fine for a few days but now won't do anything. Any suggestions? info on what to check??

Check the connections on the starter first. Make sure nothing got pinched or burnt either.

Make sure all connections are good ,the battery & black wire going the the starter I know on the ls1 starters you have to be real careful when you tighten up the negitive wire .The connection is a metal stud secured by plastic and they break easy .Also put a multi meter on the terminals and make sure battery is good.

agree, sounds like a starter wiring issue.
