Define "overheated"... Could be nothing, could be a warped/cracked head...it all depends.

Looked in to it today. All that was done was the belt graved in to the powersteering tank. New belt, new tank, new pulley. Nothing done to the motor thank god.

The power steering pulley on my car just went out, how hard is it to put a new pulley back on? Also do I need any special tools, or should i just replace the entire ps assembly?

Power steering pulleys are like women. Some are a bitch to get off, others get off with a little patience. You'll probally need a pulley remover tool. and a Hammer

Actually no I won't well at least not to get it off. I was driving along and the power steering goes out. I pull over pop the hood and my power steering pulley and the belt are just laying there, off, the pulley and belt just fell off.

Anyone else have this happen to them? The PS pulley just falling off? It sounds like its a pain in the ass to get them off so whats the deal with mine just falling off? Do I just need a new pulley or the whole thing? How do I tell if the pump is ok?
