not a camaro ques but please help!!!

ok so i know this isnt about my camaro for once but im in a real dilemma.i just picked up an old suzuki intruder 700. its a bad bike but had broken tailights.so i got some new ones. while i was workin on them the brake light came on.....no reason just popped on.and i wasnt messin with the wiring yet...so what would cause the brake light to come on with the ignition off out of the clear blue.......like i said i know this isnt ls1 related but help a brother out!!!!!

maybe the brake pedal is really lose and just the movement caused by you workin on the bike made the circut to close and turn the light on

lol my bad handle not pedal the pedal thing came from a story i was thinkin about a budy of mine back in denver had an old scout and his brake lites would be on when i came home at night but the head lights and every other light would be out so the next day i asked him and he told me about the lose pedal or in your case lose handle
