No Engine Fans
My cooling fans do not come on ever...now that its warming up and traffic is increasing, this will def be a problem. What should i check out? could it be the sensor in the radiator or a bad ground?

The OEM programming keeps them off until the engine is VERY hot.

Artic White- 2001 Chevy Camaro SS
There's a kit they sell on ebay that you can use to turn you fans on manually. I looked in to getting one, but haven't got around to it yet. The kit looks pretty legit, and it doesn't break the bank either (about $40). The fans still operate normally but if you want to keep the car cool at the track or in traffic (like in your case) you can do it with the flip of a switch. I'll look on ebay and see if I can find the link just give me a few...

Im pretty sure I've read on here they kick on at 215 degrees, which IMO is smokin' hot. I bought the SLP manual Fan Switch. A few of the sponsors of this site sell them for a reasonable price. Installation is rediculously simple, if you can change your own air filter, or for that matter, change CD's in your cd player, you can install this thing. The switch is nice, as its a 3-way switch, up is high speed, down is low speed, and in the middle your fans retain their stock operation.
