    new security/VATS issue help asap!

    Long story short, I took my TA to the body shop and they couldnt start it to drive it in.. when i went to pick it up the security light was flashing and it wouldnt turn over. Im posting this in a new thread because i seem to have some different issues that everyone else has.
    the symptoms:

    1)car has power but wont turn over
    2)can hear click but its not the starter- starter doesnt click at all
    3)can hear fuel pump prime when the ignition is turned on
    4)tired pumping the clutch while ignition is turned to start position
    5)tired leaving the ignition on for 20 min, then off 3 times before starting( idea from another thread) though i opened the door so start.
    6)when i turn to start all lights turn off but it still wont turn (like the video)

    This video is of a different year, but im wondering if this module would work because this is exactly what my car looks like when i try starting it.

    I have a 02 ws6. the car only hac 60k miles and ive never had any problems with starting it..

    the problem there is they're charging you $50 for something you can do yourself for $5 or less. If your security light is flashing it's definitely a vats issue.

    Ugh!! I'm so mad I took the car to shop for that problem. I That was like a month ago.
    I paid alot to get it done right. And now this piece of shit is acting up like that again.

    I ended up buying it one not the same kit though, it ended up costing around $25. I hooked it up, and the car started right away. I was happy with it because i didnt want to mess with building resisters or anything like that.
