New pcm?

I just bought a 98 v6 camaro that has an 04 ls6 but the pcm is out of a 00 t/a. would it be best to get a 98 ls1 pcm or can i just have mine flashed to work? just wondering what the best course of action would be.

If the wiring harness matches the oo pcm, you should be ok. The 98 pcm uses a different wiring harness, with different pin-outs...

Your 00TA PCM can be programmed to run the LS6 just fine. If you are looking for someone to do it, the link in my signature takes you to my mail order tuning page.
