new pads and autozone rotor but a thump?

after 72,000 finally had to replace the pads. put on autozone "premium pads" and new rotors. stops great lots of pedal straight all is great but if I try stopping real hard there is a low thud from the left front wheel area like maybe 6 times a second. All bolts were tight and greesed the caliper slides etc when replaced. any ideas?

I'd check control arm bushings and upper strut mount.

They'll stop you... Brake fade can come into play with the cheapies really quick, so just don't plan on mashing down in 100-0 stops to many times. Or your pedal my sink the next time you try if you don't let them cool back off..
