Slp sucks
this will show you a few good places for mods for anything from motor related to suspension related

No you don't have to tune for every little mod, you should (don't have to) if you get headers, ls-1 to ls-6 manifold swap, removal of air/egr.

Lid is alright but there are sealant issues around the filter, on the other end me and plenty of others have had to heat the lid to make it fit over the maf which is a real pita if you don't know that. lm1 is okay if you are on stock manifolds that's about it. I don't know know what anyone see's with that set-up on headers. The slp dual dual muffler is nice.
For a daily driver ls-7 clutch.

The lid from slp will be fine, I put a second layer of foam stripping on the lid to make it seal tight because some people still get debris caught in there maf.
Plenty of other mufflers for around the same price that sound a lot better.

Black- 2000 WS6 6spd Hooker LT
Don't have to do tuning for every little thing. MAF cars (like ours) are self-tuning to an extent. Of course, if you want the most out of any car, with any mods or none at all, get it tuned. I ran my car for 3.5 years with no tune after I put on my Hookers/ORY, no issues except the light was on, unless you call these things issues: better highway MPG and faster at the drag strip.
