Hi, I am a new member and have a question. I have a Gen III, 5.3 liter aluminum engine out of a 2005 Trailblazer. Build date for the vehicle is 5/25/05. My question is what reluctor wheel do I have, a 24x or a 58x? Local dealer parts guys can give me the p/n (based on VIN last 8) but can't id it.

Welcome to the site! I have no idea what reluctor wheel you have. A mod may move a copy of this thread to another section of the forum for you -- likely to get an answer there.

Welcome to the site. An '05 I'd say it's a 58 reluctor wheel.

1999 Formula WS6 M6-sold- 2001 Silverado Z71
The service manual says a 2005 Trailblazer has a 24 tooth reluctor wheel for what thats worth. That the best I can do. Next best thing is to pull the oil pan off and count the teeth
