    new here, Good Place to Find LS1 for decent price

    im looking to do a hybrid, LS1 into a 1995 nissan 240sx, and im still learning what i need, but the main things, is LS1, gto oil pan, non vette tranny. so where is a goos place to find one for a good price, or if you know more about this swap, please let me know, thanks in advance

    There's a guy on ebay selling complete rebuilt engines. He has the oil pan, too. And a complete engine with clutch and trans. Dunno if its the best price, though.

    Keep an eye peeled here in the for sale section, Ebay is another place to look, there is also car-part.com that basically does a junk yard search. I just searched for 04 GTO engines and had a ton of results. There are actually several junk yard search sites on the web.

    i bought my 04 gto engine from f parts on ebay very nice and helpful guy i can look up his name and # if you want i paid 5700.00 for a 15000 mile motor and 6 speed trans with everything under the hood that i could possibly need.

    for your project it might be better to find a low mileage rear hit totaled car, that would give you all the small unthought of parts.....look around for insurance auctions......F-body will probably go for cheaper, then get the goat pan/oil pickup.
