I just wanted to share my experience with my racetronix setup. Make sure that you get the wiring harness and check all the connections. I had a faulty ground in the factory harness. No biggy I just ran a new piece of wire with a connector. Second look closely at the flex tube when that comes out of the pump. Mine had a pin hole and was causing the pressure to drop. It will take a few seconds for the car to start once the pressure was up. I was able to fix this with a solder pencil. I just melted down the plastic and sealed the hole. I was promised a new flex tube and oetiker clamps from racetronix like in a week. It's been like 6 months now and i still haven't received them so i'm sure there are not sending them.

After 2 months my pump started whinning like the old one. It happens after driving 40 mins or so. It don't matter if the tank is full or low. That was the reason I change it on the 1st place. I contacted racetronix and they told me that is normal for the pump to make noise once it warms up...

I just wanted to make sure you are aware that the noise might come back. I haven't had any issues with it except the whinning noise. Very easy to install once you get the pump out. I tried to drop the tank of my 98 but the tank is metal and the fill tube is also metal. I even dropped the whole rear end down and still not enough clearance around the filler neck to get the tank out. I tried this for 6 hrs with breaks. I made the hard desicion of cutting the trap door and I had that pump out in 15mins. I'm not happy with it but I will hate to have to replace the pump in like a year or less and have to go thru all that again. I do agree with other people. If you can drop the tank do it that way. Is not fun to cut a car up
