    new exhaust need help

    i just got my catback exhaust with highflow cat and this will be my first time changing out exhausts so i could use some help....does anyone know how long it usually takes to take the old one out and put the new one on, and also any tips i could use while doing it thanks.

    I've never done an LT1. Exhaust work in general tends to suck and the more rust it has on it the more suck it has about it.
    Count on a few hours I'd say and that's if you don't break bolts and hangers getting the old stuff out. When I did my headers I didn't mess around with bolts on the Y. The first tool I grabbed was a sawzall.

    damn i hope i dont brake any bolts or hangers, i know i can do it its just i got to go somewhere at 12 pm and getting up at 8 hoping thats enough time i guess ill find out in the morning. ill take pics before and after this exhaust is clean....

    Yepp take pics and have some wd 40 on hand, you can also pick up some additional hangers from chinazone.

    I see the army specialty badge, if you're still active, just go to your base hobby shop and use one of their lifts. It'll make it alot easier. LOTS OF WD-40 or LIQUID WRENCH (that's my preference).

    damn i forgot about that, its like 2 hours away hah id have it done by the time id make it there ill take some shots before and after about to go do it right now as soon as my friend shows up with the beer
